Aaron Wan-Bissaka has credited his loan spell at Crystal Palace with helping him to become a "man".
The full-back, who is back at Manchester United, said he learned a lot during his time at Selhurst Park, both on and off the pitch.
"I feel like I've come back a man," Wan-Bissaka told the club's website. "I've learned a lot about myself, about the game, and about life in general.
"I'm more mature now, both on and off the pitch. I'm more confident in my abilities, and I'm more determined to succeed.
"I'm really grateful to Crystal Palace for giving me the opportunity to play. I learned a lot during my time there, and I'm a better player for it."
Wan-Bissaka made 25 appearances for Crystal Palace last season, helping the club to finish 12th in the Premier League.
He has now returned to United, and he is hoping to force his way back into the first team.
"I'm back at United now, and I'm ready to fight for my place," Wan-Bissaka said. "I know it's going to be tough, but I'm up for the challenge.
"I'm confident in my abilities, and I'm determined to prove myself. I want to help United win trophies, and I believe I can do that."
