Early life and career
Alexander Klaws was born on September 3, 1983, in Ahlen, West Germany. In 2003, he became the first winner of the German television talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS). After his victory, he released several successful singles and albums and toured extensively.
Musical theatre career
In 2005, Klaws made his musical theatre debut in the German production of Tarzan. He subsequently played the lead role in the German productions of Les Misérables and Disney's The Lion King. In 2014, he starred as Tarzan in the Broadway production of the musical.
Voice acting career
