Dan Biggar has cast doubt over Warren Gatland's future as Wales coach after the team's narrow 38-33 defeat to Fiji in Cardiff on Saturday.

The defeat was Wales' first to Fiji in their history and leaves them with just one win from their last five matches.

Speaking after the game, Biggar said: "It's a tough one to take. We're all very disappointed. We need to have a good look at ourselves and see where we can improve."

When asked about Gatland's future, Biggar said: "That's not my decision. I'm just a player. But I think we need to have a good look at ourselves and see where we can improve.

“We're not playing well enough at the moment. We're not winning enough games. So we need to make some changes.”

Gatland: 'I'm not going to walk away'

Gatland, who is in his second spell as Wales coach, said after the game that he is not going to walk away.

“I'm not going to walk away. I'm committed to this team. I believe in this team,” Gatland said.

“We've had a tough few months, but we're going to come through this. We're going to get better.”

Wales face South Africa next

Wales will face South Africa in their next match on November 12.

The match will be a tough test for Wales, but it is one that they need to win if they want to have any chance of winning the Six Nations Championship.
