Englishman ranked 229 hits shot of his life to close in on £1.2m – and PGA Tour card
Englishman David Skinns can secure a PGA Tour card and a £1.2m payday with a top-20 finish at this week's Korn Ferry Tour Championship after hitting the shot of his life on the final hole of the regular season.
Skinns, ranked 229th in the world, holed out from 127 yards on the par-four 18th at the Victoria National Golf Club in Indiana on Sunday to claim a share of 12th place and move up to 20th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
The top 25 players on the points list at the end of the week will earn PGA Tour cards for next season, while the leading 75 will progress to the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, where a further 25 cards will be up for grabs.
