Fonseca spoke ahead of his team's Serie A match against Cagliari on Sunday, saying: "The victory against Real was a great result, but we can't afford to rest on our laurels."
"We have to keep working hard and take it one game at a time. We have a difficult match against Cagliari on Sunday, and we need to be fully focused on getting three points."
Fonseca also spoke about the importance of rotating his squad: "We have a lot of games coming up in a short space of time, so it's important to rotate the squad and keep everyone fresh."
"We have a lot of quality in the team, and I'm confident that we can continue to compete on all fronts."
