List of Remembrance Sunday events in Thurrock
1. Grays
The Grays Remembrance Sunday parade will assemble at the former Co-op building in Orsett Road at 10.15am before making its way to the war memorial in the High Street for a service at 10.45am. Wreaths will be laid at the memorial by local organisations and members of the public. There will also be a two-minute silence and the Last Post will be played.
The parade will then make its way to Christ Church in the High Street for a service at 11.30am, which will be led by the Reverend Canon Phil Wood.
2. Tilbury
The Tilbury Remembrance Sunday parade will assemble at the Civic Square at 10.30am before making its way to the war memorial in Calcutta Road for a service at 11am. Wreaths will be laid at the memorial by local organisations and members of the public. There will also be a two-minute silence and the Last Post will be played.
The parade will then make its way to St Catherine's Church in Calcutta Road for a service at 11.45am, which will be led by the Reverend Canon Mark Bradnock.
3. Stanford-le-Hope
The Stanford-le-Hope Remembrance Sunday parade will assemble at the war memorial in the High Street at 10.30am for a service at 10.45am. Wreaths will be laid at the memorial by local organisations and members of the public. There will also be a two-minute silence and the Last Post will be played.
The parade will then make its way to the Civic Hall in the High Street for a service at 11.30am, which will be led by the Reverend Canon Paul Williams.
4. Corringham
The Corringham Remembrance Sunday parade will assemble at the war memorial in the High Street at 10.30am for a service at 10.45am. Wreaths will be laid at the memorial by local organisations and members of the public. There will also be a two-minute silence and the Last Post will be played.
The parade will then make its way to St Mary's Church in the High Street for a service at 11.30am, which will be led by the Reverend Canon John Hayes.
