Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has been the subject of much speculation this season, with the Egyptian forward’s contract set to expire in the summer of 2023.
According to El Nacional, Salah has now agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, with the player’s agent, Ramy Abbas, set to fly to Madrid in the coming days to discuss personal terms and finalize the transfer.
The report claims that Salah has been offered a four-year contract worth €10 million per season, which would make him one of the highest-paid players in the Real Madrid squad.
Salah has been in excellent form for Liverpool this season, scoring 28 goals in all competitions, and he is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world.
The Egyptian international has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice, and he has also been named PFA Player of the Year twice.
If Salah does join Real Madrid, he will become the latest in a long line of world-class players to have played for the Spanish giants.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, and Kaka have all graced the Bernabeu pitch, and Salah would be hoping to follow in their footsteps and become a legend at the club.
