Dianne Buswell is swapping the dancefloor for the crime-fighting streets as she joins the line-up for Famous and Fighting Crime.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer will join a host of famous faces as they get to grips with real policing, learning about the challenges faced by the police in the 21st century.

Dianne said: “I’m so excited to be part of Famous and Fighting Crime. It’s such an honour to spend time with the police and learn about the incredible work they do.

“I’ve always had so much respect for the police, but this experience has given me a whole new level of appreciation for everything they do.

“I’ve learnt so much already, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for me.”

Dianne will be joined by a host of famous faces, including former footballer John Barnes, TV presenter AJ Odudu, and ex-Eastenders star Ricky Norwood.

The group will spend time with police officers from across the country, learning about different aspects of policing, from response policing to forensics.

They will also take part in a number of challenges, testing their skills and knowledge.

Famous and Fighting Crime will air on Channel 4 later this year.
