West Ham threaten to sack Lopetegui following dismal run
David Moyes' men have lost eight of their last eleven matches
Former Sevilla boss now favourite to leave next
West Ham United have reportedly threatened to sack Julen Lopetegui following the club's dismal run of form.
The Hammers have lost eight of their last eleven matches in all competitions and are now just one point above the relegation zone.
Lopetegui, who was appointed in the summer, is now the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
The Spaniard has failed to improve West Ham's fortunes since his arrival and the club's hierarchy are said to be losing patience.
West Ham are next in action on Saturday when they host Aston Villa at the London Stadium.
Lopetegui will be desperate to get a result against his former club, but if West Ham lose again, it is likely that he will be sacked.
The former Sevilla boss is now the odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
Other managers who are under pressure include Frank Lampard at Everton and Ralph Hasenhuttl at Southampton.
