DSDS news: Dieter Bohlen returns to the jury at RTL
After a year's break, Dieter Bohlen is returning to the jury of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (DSDS) on RTL.
The broadcaster announced this on Tuesday. Bohlen had been on the jury of the casting show since the beginning in 2002, but left after the 18th season in 2021. He was replaced by Florian Silbereisen.
Bohlen: "I'm really looking forward to it"
Bohlen said in a statement: "I'm really looking forward to being back on the DSDS jury. I've missed the show and the candidates. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun together again." RTL entertainment director Markus Küttner said: "We are very happy that Dieter Bohlen is returning to DSDS. He is an absolute icon of the show and stands for great entertainment.
The 20th season of DSDS will start in early 2023. In addition to Bohlen, the jury will also include Pietro Lombardi and Katja Krasavice.
