Kane to lead Bayern attack against St. Pauli
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich will be without injured striker Robert Lewandowski for their DFB-Pokal clash with St. Pauli on Wednesday, with Harry Kane set to start in his place.
Lewandowski, who has scored 23 goals in all competitions for Bayern this season, sustained a knock in training on Monday and will miss the trip to the Millerntor-Stadion.
Kane, who has been in impressive form for Tottenham this season, will be making his first start for Bayern since joining the club on loan in January.
The England captain has scored four goals in five appearances for Bayern so far, and will be hoping to add to his tally against St. Pauli.
Bayern will be heavy favorites against the 2. Bundesliga side, but St. Pauli will be hoping to cause an upset.
The Hamburg club knocked out Borussia Dortmund in the previous round of the DFB-Pokal, and will be confident of giving Bayern a run for their money.
The match will be played at the Millerntor-Stadion in Hamburg, and will kick-off at 20:45 CET.
