On August 19, 2023, at the Eduard Streltsov Stadium, the first match of the 7th round of the Olimp-Football League Championship between the Torpedo and Yenisei teams will be dedicated to the memory of the legendary coach and player Valentin Koz'mich Ivanov.

Valentin Ivanov is a Soviet football player and coach. USSR champion (1960, 1965), USSR Cup winner (1960). Honored coach of the USSR (1973). As a player of the USSR national team, he became the winner of the European Cup (1960). Valentin Ivanov also received the Order of Friendship (2006).

The memory of the legend

Before the start of the match, a minute of silence will be announced in memory of Valentin Ivanov. The players of both teams will come out wearing mourning armbands. The match will be held with the support of the Ivanov family.
