Valve have hinted at the return of Train
The map was removed from the active duty pool
Valve have once again hinted at the return of the popular map, Train. The map was removed from the active duty pool in May of 2022, and has been replaced by Anubis.
The first hint came on Twitter, where Valve employee Matthew Sugarman posted a photo of a train with the caption "New train coming soon".
In-game files for Train have been updated
The second hint came in the form of a recent update to the game files. The update included a number of changes to the Train map, including new textures and models.
It is still unknown when Train will be added back to the active duty pool, but these hints suggest that it may be sooner rather than later.
Train is a popular map
Train is one of the most popular maps in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It is a medium-sized map with three bomb sites. The map is known for its tight corridors and long sightlines.
The return of Train would be welcomed by many in the Counter-Strike community. The map is a favorite of both professional and casual players.
