West Ham United are reportedly considering sacking manager Julen Lopetegui after a poor run of results.

Lopetegui, who was appointed in June 2022, is said to have been given time to turn things around.

However, the club's board is growing increasingly impatient with the Spaniard's lack of progress.

West Ham are currently 18th in the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation zone.

The club's next match is against fellow strugglers Southampton on Saturday.

Lopetegui has won just nine of his 26 Premier League games in charge of West Ham.

The Hammers have also been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in the early rounds.

If Lopetegui is sacked, West Ham are likely to target a manager with experience in the Premier League.

Potential candidates include Sean Dyche, Mauricio Pochettino, and Roberto Mancini.
